he hasn't destroyed anything but he likes riling kiter up, running off with a toy to maker knows where, and has entirely forewent using the toilet even though he's capable

it really is weird. and so much of my expertise doesn't quite apply, because he's a human in a dog's body. i mean, he isn't being completely terrible but he's living it up as being a dog just a tad too much
at least you didn't make too much of a mess except maybe in the metaphorical sense i dunno? more like, at least you didn't throw chew toys around and stop using toilets, I think that puts you on top honestly
